Handmade in New York. 100% tweed wool.
Boring, despite its basic construction, is not a word to describe Alexander Olch neckwear. Using a diverse use of fabrics — from silks, cashmere, English wools, and cotton among others — and patterns, Alexander Olch designs with the idea of livening the wardrobe of the wearer and "the usually conservative world of luxury neckwear." While a student at Harvard University, aspiring to be a filmmaker, Alexander Olch began making ties as gifts for friends and classmates. Quickly, popularity grew falling from filmmaker to accessory designer. Alexander Olch's ties can be worn in the classroom, preppy and casual, or to a business meeting, formal and proper — his ties see no borders. Each collection includes notepads, pocket round, bow ties, and your not so average neckties.
