Since 1999, Chris and Kirk Bray have been making leather goods the old fashion way. Born in Tennessee, but raised in Minnesota, the two infuse the South and Midwest into their collection, borrowing traditional methods and creating products that will last the test the limits if time. Billykirk was created as an idea of Kirk Bray: "It all started with an inch-and-a-quarter-wide watch strap that Kirk and I found in a pawn shop in Santa Monica." The strap, from the 70s, was different, and felt like nothing else. To the Brays, it imbued a sense of nostalgia, a reminder of their youth. This simple watch strap spawned BillyKirk.
