The By Malene Birger Nimmi Coat ($575) is one of my favourite pieces because it embodies a classic French je ne sais quoi. As soon as you put it on you feel effortlessly beautiful.

By Malene Birger Judia Blazer ($425) in navy, a little bit nautical, a little bit dress, a little bit casual, completely amazing.

I love how Malene incorporated her Moroccan inspiration into the details of every piece. This shape in Moroccan architecture is commonly used for windows. The finishings you’ll find have a men’s wear element that is often overlooked in women’s wear. The construction and the detailing is very finely crafted.

The By Malene Birger Flexi Pant ($295) is made with 55% linen and 45% cotton. They feel beautiful and they fit like a dream.

By Malene Birger Dani Pant ($325) is a very playful piece that speaks volumes to the confidence of the woman who wears them. This season we’ve taken a more lighthearted approach and have thrown some whimsy and some playfulness into the Lark mix, after all you only live once!

Anytime you see an additional label inside a Malene piece with the initials MBD it is a piece particularly dear to her. The letters stand for Malene Birger Darling, it is one of her darlings after all.

Even with playfulness dominating the feeling of the Dani Pant the details and craftsmanship is serious.

By Malene Birger Aicha Shirt ($350) is a perfect day to night piece. Under a blazer for work and on it’s own for date night or friends night.

Over the years selling and wearing Malene I’ve found that she consistently adds a little bit of edge to her style. This piece has amazing little spike buttons that are reminiscent of Desperately Seeking Suzan, SO GOOD.
