Winter is upon us in case you didn’t notice the frost this morning. And the nights are even colder.
Now, the people of Lark understand cold. Really we do as we’ve spent our share being in the East Coast. We’ve always maintained that keeping warm doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice what you look like or the options to choose from. But the perfect coat is different for each person. At Lark, we’ve got a few options to choose from: long to short, high collar to not, light to heavy.
For the ladies, I’ve tried on a two coats that would surely keep you warm this winter.
(They say it’s going to be one of the coldest winters…)
The first is the Gloverall Peacoat: The coat features a high collar that will insulate your neck, and keep you warm from the neck down. Borrowed from the construction of the original British naval peacoat, and made from Italian melton wool, this coat will really keep you warm. It’s a heavy weight and it feels substantial — it will last you for years if not decades because of it’s impeccable craftsmanship.
This is another great coat made by Yoshi Kondo: The “Dear Coat” is long, covers the torso all the way passed the knees, and is made from Moessmer Wool. Do not be deceived by its lighter than usual fabric for wool. If you didn’t already know, Moessmer Wool is one of the best wool and knit manufacturers in the fashion industry dating back to 1894. This coat covers more and keeps more warmth in.
Some other options include the Gloverall Duffle in Mid Length and the Gloverall Swing Duffle.
Men’s coats are available in store right now, and will be available online soon.
These are also great gift options too.
Happy Holidays Y’all.
